The Life Of Apostle Gary B. McLaurin


Gary Bernard is the son of Robert & Frances McLaurin born on February 20,1965 in New Haven, CT. It was then that he was called and anointed to lead & deliver God's people from the bondage of sin.

As a young boy Gary was educated in the New Haven public school system. Gary was a gifted child and has gone on to higher heights. He is currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Psychology at Liberty University Lynchburg, Virginia. He is also the Founder/CEO of PJB&R Production and Distribution Company. Apostle has a love for music/singing and on August 16, 2002 he recorded live songs of his own personal experiences. His anointed voice ministers to bring healing and deliverance to men and women.

In 1984 the Lord opened the doors of evangelism, where Evangelist McLaurin walked in a prophetic anointing. His only concern was souls being saved, spiritual passion being restored, and God's glory being revealed.

In 1986 Pastor Mclaurin moved to Fayetteville, NC. He assisted at Deliverance Temple for 2 years. He assisted Pastor Nails at Faith Pentecostal from 1988- 1990. Here he was known for an evening worship entitled "The Hour of Power."

In 1991 of October God lead Pastor McLaurin to house his people. He began right in his very own house. After a few months God moved him to a condemn building, which was located on Cashwell street. We worshipped God in this place for five months before God blessed him with the building we are now in. His spiritual journey continued with him walking in the five -fold ministry and accepting his Apostleship in 1999. He is currently the Apostle, founder, and overseer of the Shekinah Faith Temple Church in Fayetteville, NC.

Apostle is the loving husband of Tawanda Elliott McLaurin and father of Gary J'Nard and Michael Bernard.

Gospel music has influenced all of us in some way or another. It is a well- known fact that many celebrated artist received their start singing in church.

Apostle Gary B. Mclaurin is no stranger to the gospel music scene. He started his singing career at the age of five at local churches, school assemblies, and revivals in his hometown of New Haven, CT.

Apostle McLaurin has traveled and performed all over the United States, Trinidad, and Germany. He has performed with such notables as Apostle Hugh Carmichael of New Haven CT, Prophet Brian Moseley of Atlanta GA, Valerie Boyd of New York, he has also shared the stage with Walter Hawkins and Family.

Apostle McLaurin has been the lead singer for several groups, including Karen Thigpen and the Voices of Faith, his first album release was in 1984 with a group called Royal People. Apostle McLaurin recorded live at Williams Chapel in Fayetteville, NC in 1988.

However his latest CD released on August 28, 2004 in New Haven, CT far surpasses
Anything he has done to date.

Each song is birthed from his personal experience, its fresh, its engaging, it is music that brings you into the presence of God, this new release has something for everyone's musical soul.

    This cd is really great and ministers to everyone on so many different levels.I would like to know why the cd has not gone to higher heights as in gold,platinum,etc! Is there anyone else thinking the same.Let's see whzt we can do to make it happen.

    This CD has really blessed my soul. I listen to it to help me get over the opinions of people but the song that has impacted my life the most is "I know I'm not perfect yet." Many of us think we're over the opinions of man but deep down, we're really not. So with that, I thank God for blessing this man and his wife with this CD I also thank God for their obedience in making theses songs. I have a son (Jeremiah). He's two years old, and everytime the part of the song that says "I've got heaven on my mind comes on," my son says, "my mind." So even my likes this CD. It's truly awesome.
