MARTIN MANSFIELD has performed at numerous venues throughout the United States including the Aspen Music Festival Main Tent, The Miller Theater at Columbia University, the 92nd Street Y, Symphony Space and the Bruno Walter Auditorium at Lincoln Center. Martin is at home singing a wide range of musical styles including Opera, Broadway, Contemporary and Art Songs. He has presented recitals at Columbia University's St. Paul Chapel, the Hubbard Recital Hall at the Manhattan School of Music and the Kosciuszko Foundation Townhouse. Martin studied voice at Columbia University and the Manhattan School of Music and served as an Apprentice with the American Singer's Opera Project. He is an honors graduate of Columbia College, Columbia University and holds a law degree from the Fordham Law School.
Most recently, he collaborated with pianist GAYLE ASHKENAZY on “Demarcations”, a cross-over CD for these classically trained musicians, which is on sale here at CD Baby. Gayle studied piano at the Juilliard School Pre-College Division and Eastman School of Music and has performed at Festival Miami, the 92nd Street Y, Lincoln Center’s Paul Recital Hall and the Great Neck House. Gayle earned a B.A. in Music from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami and also holds a law degree from NYU.
