HI Everyone!! I"ll be recording my new solo piano cd at the end of May 2008 and it will be released this fall along with a series of concerts....The inspiration behind track # 6 THE RING AND THE NECKLACE is about something that happened when I was in the swimming pool. I'm not a very good swimmer for starters but while I was doing lengths in the slowest lane I realized I had lost my necklace. I searched at the bottom of the pool for a while and finally found it. But minutes later while I was swimming again I noticed my silver ring had fallen off my finger and disappeared. What was going on? And luckily I found the ring shortly thereafter as well. Thus the creation of this piece. Mark Pinkus was just named artist of the month for May 2008 on Canadian New Age Instrumental Satellite Radio. This solo piano cd was Recorded on a Grand Yamaha Piano. Total time: 65:05
