Marina Raye was born in the Congo where she spent her first ten years. She draws inspiration from her deep love for the Earth as she shares her vision of the awakening of peace in every heart. What makes Marina's music so special is its deeply emotive
quality which celebrates the essence of peace and harmony.

The uniqueness of Marina's original flute compositions has earned her the description, "The Feminine Voice of the Native Flute." She is joined on this CD by Paraguayan harpist, Joanne Robinson. The combination of native flutes with harp creates an enchanting sound that is heartfelt and uplifting.

    A must for everyone who longs to be in sync with a real peaceful existence amidst this crazy world. The wonderful sounds of this CD (as well as others of Marina's) see me through the day at home, at work, and welcome me home at night. And, an added treat: they sooth my cat when he is left at home all day and prior to packing him up to see the vet!
