"Most impressive was Marg Stowe on guitar."
Globe & Mail, Toronto, Concert review.
Jazz guitarist Margaret Stowe is based in Toronto
Canada. As a sideperson and bandleader she has toured all over Canada and Europe. Her eclectic, original jazz can be quirky and offbeat, as well as lyrical and moving. A versatile guitarist, she has performed and recorded with
dozens of Canadian/International artists including
Big Rude Jake, Rita Chiarelli, Lorraine Segato, Jackie
Washington, George Koller, Salome Bey, Daisy DeBolt,
Mose Scarlett, Molly Johnson, Jane Bunnett, Diana Braithwaite and Jackie Richardson, and a host of others.
Her style is a hybrid of groovy, ambient, light, heavy, original modern jazz, with a blues, global, funk, folk, psychedelic, chill, café flavour.
