After the success of “My London Friends” that saw a collaboration with Nathan Haines and a young jazz quintet. Arision Recordings is proud to announce the reissue of this now collectible album by our very own Italian piano maestro Marco Di Marco. This album was hard enough to get hold of when it was originally released. In the early nineties its popularity grew to a point just as the availability grew scarcer. But here it is in all its original glory available on LP and for the first time ever, on CD. The Living Room in Paris was the setting for this recording exactly 31 years ago. It took place over two days after the trio spent time working on Marco’s wonderfully musical rare groove tracks, blending their own jazz styles and experiences to create this atmospherically funky album. A few copies of the original LP have recently been seen on Ebay selling for over 200€. We put this down to the fact that tracks like Par Avion are still proving to be dancefloor classics on nights like Jazz Café’s Hi Hat run by Snowboy and the Jazz Rooms in Brighton. “This Marco Di Marco is the S@#t” – DJ Bobbito
