notes
Wild About Harry is the newest addition to the growing collection of Harry Manx music. This DVD captures the spirit of the simple yet compelling live performance in a small club atmosphere. Filmed in Sydney, Australia's famed club The Basement, this performance features tracks from albums Dog My Cat, Wise and Otherwise and Road Ragas in more than 105 minutes of up-close, personal footage. Guitar lovers will treat this concert as a tutorial with never-before-seen angles proving Manx's virtuosic skill on slide guitar.
"The live performances have become the most exciting part of the music business for me," says Manx. "And it's not only the playing. It's all the other magic that happens between myself and the audience when we're all focused on the same point. My goal has always been to draw the audience as deep as possible into the music. I get a little closer to that every show. Fans call it the 'Harry Zone'. Whatever it is, I love those moments. It feels like achieving the impossible ever day. I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to play my songs to so many supportive listeners. That's what it's all about for me."

Wild About Harry
author: Ken GlasserI bought this after seeing Harry live. It's a terrific introduction to an excellent musician. I just bought it for some friends as an introduction. Harry plays some fabulous music and makes it look so easy (trust me it's not). My only complaint is that he doesn't play much where I live and watching this DVD makes me want to see him live again.
Must Have Concert DVD
author: Wes JamesAs a new fan of Harry Manx, I am in love with this concert DVD in my favorite genre- one man and a guitar on stage- live. It's o.k. to throw in a few extra instruments (such as a harmonica, banjitar or his 20 string guitar/sitar)- so long as he's the only one playing them. If you're a fan of Kelly Joe Phelps, you'll love this DVD (and visa versa!). Next best thing to being there- except you can keep hitting the "replay" button over & over- and you will!
Just mad about Harry
author: Lynne AndersonMy husband gave me this DVD for my birthday. I am a huge Harry Manx fan and although the concert is a couple of years old, this has brought back fond memories and is a great sample of some of Harry's best songs. It would be a great gift for the uninitiated of Harry Manx's music and talents to get a taste.
