**MPA sophomore album, RIDDIM + BLUES, will be released on July 5, 2008!!**

Mana Poly All-Stars (MPA) is no stranger to the music industry. With well over fifteen years of combined experience, they have had success in both the retail and radio charts, in addition, to posting numerous “Number 1 Hits” on Polynesian radio stations along the west coast, the Polynesian triangle, Guam, Saipan, and the Micro and Melanesian islands. MPA’s fortune is accredited to a sound which they have pioneered together-urban island music.

“S.pacifik Musik,” Mana Poly All-Stars’ debut album, was released in October 2005 and is rapidly gaining mainstream recognition in the music industry. Winning Best Out of County Artist/Group at the Fifth Annual Orange County Music Awards 2006 and being nominated for Best R&B at the First Annual Southern California Music Awards are two examples of this. Other indications of their growing popularity are their selection as the Salt Lake City, UT market finalist for the 2006 Virgin College Mega Tour and placement with the Annual Legends of Rasta Reggae Festival Tour: Universal Love 2006 (formerly known as the Annual Bob Marley Festival Tour). Joining this tour has set Mana Poly All-Stars in a line up with nationally recognized artists Wayne Wonder, Ky-Mani Marley, Shinehead and more. These events, in conjunction with many others, will quickly take “S.pacifik Musik” to the masses.

“Mana,” meaning power or great spirit, is the driving force behind this skillful sensation. “Poly,” the shortened version of the word Polynesian, is the culture and heritage of which they are a part. In trying to put together the best Polynesian group imaginable, they sought out musicians who were already established in that particular market. The collaboration of these musical innovators and brilliant song writers helped derive the term “All-Stars.” Thus, the caliber of talent this group possesses is what makes them truly unique.

Formed in the summer of 1999, the Mana Poly All-Stars is definitely setting a new world-wide trend in music. The accomplishments of this eight member ensemble are only the beginning of many great things to come. All that is gained and learned will be reinvested in an effort to inspire and provide avenues for other Polynesian artists who also wish to pursue their dreams. Join the Mana Poly Mailing List at www.mpallstars.com to catch a live performance in your area, as MPA embarks on their mission to spread “feel good” positive music in their communities and throughout the world.

  • They have tremendous potential within the Pacific Islander Market
    author: DEK Marketing Inc.

The CD has a combination touching all aspect of both Island R&B and Regae. The demand in the Pacific Island market can be tremendous if marketed correctly. I would recommend the music and hoefully the group gets a lable to better distribute to the international Poly market.

  • Definitely some of the smoothest island reggae I've heard in awhile.

“S.PACIFIK MUSIK” MANA POLY ALL-STARS The eight members of Mana Poly All-Stars (MPA) represent the musical trends of the Polynesian triangle, including Guam, Saipan and the Micro and Melanesian Islands. The result is a feel-good, soulful reggae album that’s caught the ears of mainstream artists Ky-Mani Marley and Shinehead, and placement with this year’s annual Legends of Rasta Reggae Festival (formerly known as the annual Bob Marley Festival) tour. Switching lead between all eight members means you’ll get some sultry female R&B crooning on “Down For Me,” followed by some skankin’ and catchy dancehall on “The Game.” Definitely some of the smoothest island reggae I’ve heard in awhile. —Poly All-Stars Records, July 2006

  • This is how music is suppose to sound!

  • Music covers many genres, Excellent!
    author: CA Love

Is anyone aware that this dude 'Nela is the architect of Pau Hana!? These band members didn't just decide to start a group overnight, they are lifelong musicians. As tight as the CD is, you have to see them at a live show. This clique is the real deal. No knock on the CD but it doesn't do justice to how badass this group is. We wish you guys continued success and keep bringing that positive vibe. The music is bangin', keep on keepin' on!!! **I know this conflicts with your polynesian upbringing but some of us would like to hear something sexy and intimate from you guys...**

This is a very versatile CD with some reggae, island, and some slow and easy jams. Definitely gives the listener wanting more from this group. My definite favorites are "Misconception of a man"--Kalani rocks this one, "2 Cups" This is a very wanna dance type of tune--Nela does an excellent job, "Everything is Alright"--I am a big fan of Luisa and she hits the nail ON in this one!!! Thanks MPA for a great CD something the whole family can rock to!
