Maitrayee is a performing vocalist. She holds a degree of Sangeet Vishaarad from Bruhad Gujarat Sangeet Samiti, Gujarat, winning a gold medal. She got her formal education in North Indian Classical Music by Shri Ishwarbhai Parekh based in Anand, Gujarat, India.
