Why You Should Care: “Usually when people find out I’m in a band, they assume I’m either the keyboard player or the lead singer. When I say I’m the lead guitarist, they just look puzzled” says Kyrsten. Such is the case when bands venture away from the norm allowing such things as six-string fretless bass solos, alternating lead vocals and dizzying beats served up animal style. Conjuring their inspiration from 3-piece greats like Primus, Muse, and The Police, Magnuson paints their haunting melodies atop an intricate canvas of bass/drum rhythms and melodic guitar textures. This unique genre-bending approach ensures there is a song or two on their latest album you’ll find yourself quite fond of. Favorites include Strange Lights and Hopelees Rerun.

Future Plans: Planning on putting together a Scandinavian tour in the summer of 08. Currently working on a music video for the song "Hopeless Rerun". And as always, continuing to write songs for the next release. If you think they sound crazy, do yourself a favor and find out what they’re talking about.
