Magic Mama performs Organic Hip Hop and World Beats for the Whole Family. Through her music, Magic Mama delivers an empowering and hope-filled message of love and respect for all and inspires creative thinking and earth-friendly actions. Gaia is Mother Earth, a living and breathing being who we call "home." Why ORGANIC hip-hop? All of Magic Mama's rhythm-and-rhyme music is created and recorded live (with the help of a loop machine) using acoustic instruments including canning jars filled with water, empty cheese puff bags, guitar and vocal percussion.
Magic Mama is an eco-edu-tainer who specializes in environmental art and music. Performing with Brianna Capra on Bass, Magic Mama offers "Ladybug Picnic" Programs (author/illustrator musical duo) featuring Brianna's illustrations for the Rodeo deGaia CD.
In keeping with her Earth-Friendly values, Magic Mama has packaged her CD in a 100% recycled fiberboard tri-fold case which comes with a fully illustrated recycled paper songbook. There is no plastic case or tray and is tab-sealed rather than shrink wrapped. The CD itself is held in place by a small foam hub. Each and every song is illustrated and comes with lyrics!
