I never knew I could, but it hit me 1st
At work, then school; tried to play it cool
Ran home alone, and cried about it...."
Lulu Fall
Lulu Fall's mature style is unlike any other. Known for her electic, smoky, and intimate sound, this 22-year-old continues to captivate her audiences. Lulu's debut CD "Lulu's Back in Town" captures her timeless sound. This album consists of 10 jazz standards, including her favorite, "Misty".
This album is sure to take you through a series of moods and emotions: love, frustration, lust, heartbreak, and contentment. "Lulu's Back in Town" is the perfect CD to relax to, cry with, and lounge to....
Through Michigan State University, her alma mater, Lulu has had the opportunity to perform at Generations 2006, a bi-annual workshop held in Switzerland. There, she studied with many jazz greats, including Cedar Walton, Lewis Nash, and Brad Leali. For a short stint, Lulu moved to Brooklyn, NY, where she performed, and continues to perform, with one of the top wedding band agencies on the east coast, the Hank Lane Music Agency.
Whereas this album reflects her soft and mature disposition, Lulu's second album, in the works as we speak, will reflect more of her funky, unconventional, and aggressive side...STAY TUNED

Impressive Debut
author: D.J.Carleton
Her style is unflinchingly unique, sensual without trying to be, and incredibly infectious. Backed by a kicking rhythm section (Noble Jolley -piano, Ben Williams -bass, Nate Jolley -drums), Lulu breezes through a set primarily made up of standards ("Misty", "Lover Come Back To Me"). Her takes on "Black Coffee" and Tad Dameron's "If You Could See Me Now" are sure to win over even the toughest of skeptics. Having had to pleasure of hearing her perform "live" many times during her tenure as a jazz studies student at MSU, I know that she is even more impressive in person, but much of her unique talent does come through on this CD. Lulu Fall has a lot to offer and this is as fine an introduction to the record-buying public as there could possibly be.
