Over the last four years Lonnie Gordon has performed as the lead vocalist and narrator for "Zumanity" another side of Cirque du Soleil, in Las Vegas. Known as a goddess of Dance music with an amazing energy, Lonnie Gordon began singing at the tender age of 6 while growing up in New York. Her mother who in her own right was a great pianist, vocalist and artist was certainly the gene pool from where Lonnie gets her talented gifts of singing,performing and art.
Working with Cirque Soleil and moving to Las Vegas, was a bold career move that provide an opportunity for Lonnie to showcase her strong vocals and incredible stage presence. This engagement allowed her to both learn, and understand the inner working of what is considered the most successful theatrical company in the world. It also worked to define, and prepare her, for the next stage of her long distinguished career, lonnie's creation of a Performing Arts special review show encasing her all- around talent.
For nearly two decades Lonnie graced the dance charts with such worldwide number one smashes as “Happening All Over Again,” “Gonna Catch You”, “Bad Mood.” and "No Regret" which are all on her Greatest Hits CD.
As she constantly remind everyone, the one true blessing in her life is her daughter, Rikki, who resides in Europe. “The most brilliant thing I feel that I’ve done in my life is have my daughter…from the time when she was small she always came to my gigs. She knows what I do for a living and what I do is really for her. I’m not the kind of person that holds back on how I feel about my daughter, if its good enough for me to do, it’s good enough for her to be a part of and involved in. We get along really well and have a great relationship.”

OK, it's not a new album, it's another compilation, but it's a good one, with new excelent tracks! but if you want more, there's two another compilations (Anthology 1 & 2) with more new songs! hours and hours of pleasure
Where she's been and where she's going

A number of Miss Gordon's most popular dance hits of the 1990s provide the history of her career. These tracks highlight both Lonnie's brawny, souful voice as well as her ability to keep the focus on vocals instead of other muscial elements of dance songs. For many of her fans, these are the songs responsible for first connecting us to this wonderous talent. The remaining tracks, mostly ballads and covers, demonstrate that Miss Gordon's talent is constantly growing and moving forward. They show that her uniqure, powerful voice can be just as appropriate for muscial styles other than dance. More importantly, these newer recordings have allowed us to see Lonnie's spiritual growth and rebirth. As a loyal fan, I could not be happier. This CD is wonderful
A Pleasure to listen to classics and new material on one CD.
author: EddieThis CD is a fantastic compilation of some original material going back 17 years plus some new recordings. You can't fault the amazing vocals on this CD from Lonnie. It will stay in my collection forever. Also includes an old interview...how's that for variety! Many of these tracks were never released in the UK, so buy it or you'll be missing out.
