Lois has performed with world-renowned artists such as Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, Luther Vandross, Astrid Gilberto, Petula Clark, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Woody Shaw and Tom Harrell to name a few. In addition, she has played with classical orchestras and chamber ensembles such as the New York City Ballet Orchestra, the Institute for Advanced Musical Studies in Switzerland, the Festival of Two Worlds in Spoleto, Italy, the Orchestra de Camera in Venice, Italy, the Orchestral Society of Westchester, the Filharmonica de Caracas in Venezuela.
As a studio musician, she has recorded for films, T.V. commercials and recordings in North and South America. She has performed at major Hotels in around the world such as the Plaza Hotel in New York City, the Princess Hotel in Bermuda, the Dorado Hotel in Puerto Rico and the Palace Hotel in Tokyo.
During her years of travel and performance on the Queen Elizabeth 11, the Royal Viking Sun and the Crystal Cruise Ships, Lois would visit music stores and began her research and collection of Celtic music. This lovely CD, "Monica's Wedding" A Treasure Of Celtic Wedding Music, was inspired by a performance at a Celtic Wedding. It was Lois' challenge to arrange and record the entire CD on a 26 string folk harp.
There is a harp book of "Monica's Wedding: A Treasure of Celtic Wedding Music . Included in this lovely Celtic collection are the original keys with a supplemental section in the recorded keys so that you can play along with Lois.

I just bought Lois Colin's CD Monica's Wedding: A Treasure of Celtic Wedding Music, and I am really impressed. From start the finish, the music is lovely and beautiful. I plan to have some of these lovely songs played throughout my wedding ceremony. Lois Colin is a great talent and her music is a gift to listeners.
