notes
There are singers and there are entertainers. Logan Wells is entertainment at its best!
The ability to capture and connect immediately with any audience is a result of her warm interactive style, a superb vocal ability, and a stage presence achieved only by seasoned performers.
Logan has performed professionally for over 12 years. She first discovered her vocal talents singing karaoke at a neighborhood block party, where she hid behind the speakers, so no one would know who was singing! Shortly after that, she entered and won countless vocal contests. Industry professionals suggested she develop not only her vocal talents, but her natural songwriting ability as well.
Logan is now very much accustomed to the spotlight. She has played a wide variety of venues - headlining her own public concert appearances at community events, fairs, festivals, as well as sharing the stage with Shenandoah, Joe Diffie, Deana Carter, Marty Stuart, JM Montgomery, Billy Dean, Sammy Kershaw, Sawyer Brown, Kevin Sharp, Sonni Geraci, Terri Clark, Marc Chesnutt and legendary artists, Bill Anderson & Ray Price. Logan joined forces with Ty Herndon & Daryl Singletary in Spring 2000 to two sold-out shows of over 10,000 fans and shared the stage with Doug Stone at the Geauga County Fair Grandstand. In 2002, Logan headlined her own sold-out productions at the Sandusky State Theatre & The Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield, OH. Since then, Logan has been on the road nationally, performing with Brad Paisley at The Chataqua Institute, NY as well as performing her shows in many theaters throughout the United States. 2003 found Logan at Lakeside's Hoover Auditorium drawing over 2,000 fans, and most recently, Logan made her debut appearance at the Las Vegas Hilton main showroom in Dec. 2003 as a headliner, as well as Mandalay Bay during the CMA awards this May 2004. Logan has just finished recording with a Nashville Record Label and will be releasing her first single this Winter as well as her self-produced inspirational cd, Let It Shine. Logan has made numerous TV and radio appearances, & was invited to the Mid-Am Truck Show to be a guest and interviewed by legendary D.J./Songwriter Bill Mack on XM Satellite Radio. Bill Mack has added Logan's songs to his syndicated radio program that is played on over 800 radio stations nationwide as the "New Power Discovery Artist" sponsored by Chevron Oil and Overdrive Magazine. Most recently, Logan was asked by the White House staff to perform at President George W. Bush's election rally in Westlake, OH to over 30,000 people and was so impressed by the performance, she was asked back to perform for our first lady, Laura Bush, at the IX center in Cleveland, OH.
Her striking good looks & relaxed, warm stage presence help her to create a fast friendship with her audience. Logan has all the ingredients to emerge as the recording industry's new superstar!
Logan's outstanding performances and popularity have her performing over 250 gigs a year. Logan looks forward to going on the road with her band in 2007/2008. They will pursue larger venues headlining her own shows at fairs, festivals, corporate functions and theatres, with greater emphasis on performing her own original songs, as well as creating a well-rounded show of country/pop/folk/big band tunes mixed with star-studded costuming/comedy/impressions and a whole lot of fun for all ages! Logan Wells has been nominated three years in a row for Best Country Band at the Northern Ohio Free Times Music Awards!
Even with a busy performance schedule, Logan feels it is important to include many hours of community service, lending a hand at various benefits, as well as performing for the elderly, less fortunate, and the sick. She has performed bi-monthly at an area cancer home for the past 9 years.
"It is personally rewarding to go to a place where people need a smile...a touch...a song. Music is healing, and I'm fortunate to be able to bring some happiness to somebody's day or comfort them with a favorite song."
"If you told me 10 years ago that I would be pursuing a professional singing career, I would have thought you were crazy! This all started quite accidentally by my singing at a block party, and a new career snowballed from there! I pray for guidance on everything, so I said a prayer early on that if this was something I was supposed to be doing, that the Lord would provide the opportunities and guide me...and He has surely done that! I know deep in my heart and soul I'm supposed to sing...and that there is a purpose in everything I'm doing. I don't know what the future holds or what I'm suppose to do with this gift when I get there, but for now, I'm going along for the ride...and enjoying every minute of it!!"
"Country music has evolved into a different sound over the past 15 years or so, and my fans are telling me they like what I'm singing because they miss the traditional sounds from the early days, where the roots of country music started."
I enjoy performing and writing songs that have a more traditional sound, rich with acoustics, like steel guitars, fiddles, harmonicas, etc. - and the "Nashville Sound" that developed in the late 1950's. I love experimenting with different sound effects, styles, and delivery."
"It's an exciting time for country music, especially for women. We've come a long way since Kitty Wells and Patsy Cline opened doors for us, and I think women are being taken much more seriously and doing very exciting things in the industry. I hope to make my mark with my sound and style, and leave a legacy for those who follow."
"I'm also having a great time performing different genre's of music this past year. We decided to offer four different shows; an all country show featuring traditional country thru current country/pop/rock tunes, our special "Tribute to Patsy Cline" biographical stage production, our newest show called Women in Country, and a Variety type show that has a little bit of all genre's to satisfy all ages and musical tastes. I've had many requests to record a gospel CD, so that has been my latest project. It's an inspirational cd fill with songs of faith, hope, love, & morality type issues, and it's called Let It Shine. It's my best work yet and I'm very excited about the new cd."

author: Bob & Linda HendersonThis CD is fantastic!! How often do you buy a CD and love every song? Well here's the exception...we love them all! If we had to choose our favorites....we'd have to go with Don't Laugh At Me and In The Garden. Your voice can move us to tears. Inspirational?? It doesn’t get any better than this. We have all your CD’s and we agree that your star shines brightest on this one.

Let it Shine is 5 star entertainment with a mix of old but great songs
author: Hal KivlanLogan takes the tried and true songs and blends them into a mixture of heavenly quality that only a true artist can achieve...
great sound
author: nick spokeVery heart warming
Definitely her best work to date
author: Ken WhitesideI've followed Logan's career very closely for the last 5-6 years. I knew from the get-go that she had talent to spare in the country genre, but her latest effort, this gospel cd, far surpasses anything she's done previously. Coming from one of her most rabid fans, that's saying a mouthful.
How about two words..Simply Geat
