More about Mallory:
LLOYD MALLORY, JR., is a native of Washington, D.C. (The Nations Capitol). Currently he serves as an Associate Pastor for Music and Worship at the Sligo Church in Takoma Park, Maryland. From July 1996 to May 2006, Lloyd Mallory was the choral director for Oakwood College, its Aeolians and College Choir. His choirs frequently traveled the country and sang with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra. While teaching there, Mallory was an Associate Professor of Music and taught several music core related subjects.
Lloyd Mallory graduated June 2006 with a Doctor of Music Arts degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, (UCLA) where his mentoring professor still is Dr. Donald Neuen, Professor of Choral Activities and the choir director for the Hour of Power at the Robert Schuller Crystal Cathedral, Garden Grove, California. WOW!
author: Fred SettleI knew Lloyd Mallory was talented but the way he puts these voices together and has them sounding as one is amazing. I've always appreciated the singing of spirituals, hymns and anthems and this group of talented singers presents them as good as any I've ever heard. This is one CD I'll be playing over and over again for many years to come.
