L J was born to Charles, & Elizabeth Coon in Lorain, Ohio. At the age of ten his Father provided him with a dream by giving him his first guitar. Since then he has been in love with Music, Singing, & Songwriting.

L J moved to Nashville to pursue his musical career. There he was able to craft his skills, & meet wonderful friends within the Music Industry.

He has won many Country Music Awards for Song of the Year, in both Country, & Gospel categories. He has also won awards for Best Recording, & Most Promising Rising Artist. L J currently writes & publishes songs through BMI at L J Coon Music Publishing.

His work has been heard on Radio, & Television. His CD "Livin In The Country Lane" receives airplay in the United States, New Zealand, Australia and throughout Europe on the BBC, and in many more International Countries. His songs are available for Digital Downloads, and Ringtones through most digital distribution companies.

He was especially honored to perform his song; "The Wall" at Ceremonies in Washington DC. The song was placed in a time capsule there for future generations to experience. L J's C-D also includes a Elvis Tribute song, " January 8-1935 ( Jenny's Song )" and a whimsical caricature song called "Wisdom Through Fairy Tales " .

  • Fantastic Country Music

    This CD was a Blast to listen to. It ranges from Traditional Country to some Rock, and almost Pop. I think I even heard a little yodel. Can't wait to hear what's next.
