Her music is "alt-country” for sure, which I sometimes hate, but her dark and seductive voice has me believing in a way I never did before...She has really matured as a songwriter and singer and her band did
the tunes justice. fell in love with her driving home from El Paso the other day, listening to her voice tell me (OK, the listener!) that “forgot to tell me how much she loves me" on my personal favorite "I Remembered I Forgot,” which she claims is just some sort of inside joke of hers about how cheesy Nashville songwriters really are.
