Their daughter Genny St. Charles-Monet, a graduate of the Arcata Arts Institute, is the graphic artist of the cover and inserts for Tingaleyo, and son Matt St. Charles, feature film director, is the technical consultant for "Tingaleyo".
A best-selling artist on the Music for Little People label, Monet credits a school in her northern California area for inspiring her first releases. Merilee Owen, Director of Children of the Redwoods Toddler Center prompted this first recording, "Circle Time" and did the original cover art.

author: PatchaI am so delighted to have discovered this CD! Lisa Monet's voice brings "serenity" to the little ones. I bought copies for my nieces and nephews -- they LOVE hearing and singing along with her magical, lyrical voice.

author: TeresaThis is her absolutely classic CD, in my opinion. She is the pied piper of little ones, and they walk right up to the music when they hear her voice. They get quiet and listen, and then they start to participate. It's just the sweetest thing to watch. They love her! These songs aren't over-orchestrated, they're pure and simple and sweet. Very calming to little ones. And they learn to listen and pay attention, and memorize, all without even thinking about it. It's a great time-out for Mom! I give this to all new moms and they thank me for it later. Lisa Monet is just magic with children.
