Album Notes

The Music "the naked album" shows Faith, Charity & Bunnie like you've never heard them before. Acclaimed as '..The best Limeybirds' album yet...' "the naked album" features NEW never before heard songs & traditional favourites, showing off the Ladies of Lime fabulous vocal talents on their own improv tracks & also on two tracks very close to their hearts: "O Canada" and "The Star Spangled Banner". We wanted to feature our harmonies on this album; and I think we've succeeded. Our new take on both our countries' anthems (okay, yes we are Canadian; however we're in the US so much it has become our second home) really really really make us proud. We hope you will love them as much as we do! The musical arrangements are also unique to the Limeybirds, with tight tight tight harmonies that we work very hard on to keep sounding fresh. So if you're thinking of using any of our material, we're flattered - just remember where it came from, and to credit the people who've workded so hard to make you all laugh! Backstage Notes: We recorded this album at "Word of Mouth" Studios in New Orleans, LA. Special thanks to Wilson Revelle and Harry Raivin for creative input; and to Tim Stambaugh for making us sound amazing! The Answering Machine bits were something we were just messing around with; and had so much fun we decided heck, stick em on. Bunnie's version of Close to You? Actually gets perfomed on occasion....Here's a little known-fact...Bunnie HATES and I mean HATES Karaoke. This is what she'll sing if forced....so look out! Charity's version of All By Myself - came out of a whole buncha private jokes we used to share. If you have our DVD you can see it re-enacted....Now immortalized just for you! Faith's version of Bushel And A Peck...well it's just so silly....if you listen carefully you can hear Bunnie & Charity laughing in the background.... We hope you find these as funny as we did!
