notes
I grew up in the streets of Wichita, Kansas A.K.A. (the Dubb.K. hangin with the fella's, and doing fella type things. I started rappin with two of my cousins Reyna (Weirdo) Gastion and Lakisha (Ki-Ki) Marcy; I was the youngest of the crew, 10, 11, & 12. We were the first females in the Dubb. K. to rap. We wanted to do something differernt than rest of the girls (singing, dancing, poetry ext.)
So we got together everyday after school got us an instrumental tape and wrote our own lyrics to a song called "Pump it up" by the Nubian Queens, us; it was official. We entered the local talent show and had everybody so krunk the next day I had people walking up to me saying, "Man that was the sh*t" walking off singing the hook. right then and there I knew it was a gift. So with cofidence and strong will power of not giving up I went from Tinni 'T (tie-nee-tee) of the Nubian Queens to Lil' Hennessy from BLOCK HOGGIN RECORDZ.
