LEE CADENA has enjoyed principle roles in such show as; "Oklahoma", "The Music Man", "Arsenic and Old Lace", and a few more shows add to his credit. Lee worked on the film production of "Selena" with Jennifer Lopez. In 1995, Lee started his singing career when he joined Spanish singer Arri(Mary Mandujano) as a backup vocalist. He was chosen to record an original song called "Desandote" it was played on local radio. Together they performed at many local events including the opening celebration of Fiesta '97. Due to this recognition, Lee was asked to perform in "A Christmas around the World" special in which he represented Mexican-Americans. A native son of San Antonio, TX, Lee returned home after four years of working in San Fransico, Washington D.C., New York and Europe. His return work started when he became a member of Burras Finas production "Las Nuevas Tamaleras". In November 2002, Lee returned to New York City where he was a featured performer at Dillon's in his own cabaret show. This one man show was later aired on Manhattan television. Lee joined the 75 Yards Off-Broadway Players for a musical tribute to New York City after September 11th. Lee has since done two more musical productions with them. When his popularity increased after these shows, Lee returned to his hometown for his first solo concert perfomance. In Feburary through April 2005, Lee performed his sold-out show at New York City's Rose's Turn in "Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me". That show lead to a successful concert in San Antonio, TX in May of that year. In July 2006, Lee entered the studio to record his first solo CD. In 2007, Lee starts rehearsals for his CD relase tour as well as a tribute show to mexican and latin american composers. Mr. Cadena is committed to preserving and sharing the Hispanic/Latin culture with others in both his homes in New York City and San Antonio, TX
