La Charanga '76, with Hansel y Raul as lead singers, became the number 1 Charanga Band to come out of New York in the mid '70s. They were the key group in popularizing and maintaining the Charanga Cuban Sound, exemplified by La Orquesta Aragon throughout the United States. In the late '80s hansel y Raul split from La Charanga '76, and in the '90s, from each other, but to this day they continue to record and keep alive the beat of Charanga. This CD contains 16 songs which werer major hits for them and continue to receive airplay in US radio. Incredible Party Music. We hope you enjoy them!
