Along with playing bass as the way I make a living, I love writing songs. Currently the song title song ‘I Like You’ placed as a Finalist in the Rock category of the Song of the Year contest Aug. 2007. http://www.songoftheyear.com/winners/2007/082007.htm
Also, the song, ‘Have a Nice Day’ has received a lot of positive feedback. It has finished as a top 5 Finalist in the Pop category of the January 2007 Song of the Year contest, and Honorable Mention in the March 2007 contest.
Laurie’s ‘Take My Hand’ song featured on her ‘I Like You’ CD which also features the guitar playing of Randy Hansen, and the now deceased Beth on Viola, placed in the top 5 as a Finalist in the Adult Contemporary June 2007 Song of the Year contest too.
A video for the ‘Just a Frog’ song is almost complete too, and we shall be focusing on distributing our CDs, getting more airplay, and booking our CD release parties.
