The LATIN DANCE BAND plays salsa, timba and latin-music that makes you dance and smile. The cd; "Movimiento" has new energy, rhytm and "let it all out"-attitude, that makes people move on the dancefloor. The LATIN DANCE BAND is based in Denmark, Scandinavia and plays all over Scandinavia at music-clubs, festivals and events. The band contains 8 Danish and 2 Cuban topmusicians and includes also in liveconcerts two or more salsadancers from Cuba and Denmark.
On the cd; "Movimiento" you find 9 songs including LATIN DANCE BAND versions of Cuban salsa/timba-tunes, three songs with Danish lyrics and two original compositions by famous Cuban composers Giraldo Piloto (Klimax) and Lionel Limonta (Bamboleo, Azucar Negra).
The song "Kanin mambo"/"The Rabbit mambo" is featured on European compilation-cd from recordcompany Clubstar: "Latin Garden" together with international worldmusic-stars like Celia Cruz, Angela Kidjo, Yerba Buena and more.
