The Latexxx Teens strike back after the 2004 glam punk EP “Latex (de)Generation” with a new image, a new name and the new release “Moloko & Ultra-Violence”. This EP contains a very professional artwork by Grace Khold (at Ministry Of The Sign), and six brand new tracks. The EP starts with “Genesis Of Te(chn)ocrazy”… The song starts as if you were standing outside of a club, but then it gets interesting with the loud N’ intensive electric guitars, and drum machines. Good start for the EP. The EP continues with “Millenium Nightmare (United Shit Of America)”. This song would be categorized the most aggressive song in the whole EP, with mixtures of Glam Punk and Industrial EBM Metal. “Machine Zeit” is a very danceable song, reminds me a lot to Dope Stars Inc. and Murderdolls. It has a very good introduction with a synthesizer and has an awesome ending with a guitar solo. The fourth song, “(s)Ain’t (r)Evolution” is the soft part of the EP, but it still has the LXT punk attitude. Before finishing the EP, “Viral SublimiNation” plays. This is the most techno song in the whole EP! Very danceable, and has a very catchy chorus. Reminds me a lot of the EP that Dope Stars Inc. released on the 2003 “10.000 Watts Of Artificial Pleasures”. The EP finishes with “Requiem For A Dream”. It has very good written lyrics, and powerful guitars. The chorus’ rhythm, lyrics and synth effects are totally awesome. Even though the biography section of LXT’s website said many weird descriptions on the “Moloko & Ultra-Violence” part, it has everything that the Industrial Gothic Rock and CyberPunk fans would want.
the new release is killer
author: Brian RademacherAfter last years EP demo “Generation” Latexxx Teens are looking for a higher ground to reach and may reach that plateau of success with their new release “Moloko & Ultra-Violence.” First the imagine change with Love Dolls looking like Joe Elliot of Def Leppard last year , now looking like Marilyn Manson gone Gestapo is a step up. The music is much darker and I feel the vibe that is exciting. “Genesis of Te(chn)ocrazy” brings gleam and will have the blood pumping to start things off and from there is full throttle with good chorus like chants. “Machine Zeit” is just power on top of power with Icy Teens hooking up with Plastik Poison 69 almost in a heavy metal progressive move, sounding the bell for a new era in LXT. I am really surprised with the guitar work this time around with LXT being more emphasized and over the top especially with on “Machine Zeit”. The new release is hard-core industrial with a huge jump in dimension that is unsettling. Don’t look for any ballads or slow moving songs here because LXT explodes this time around. Lex Kaos (Alex Love Dolls) vocals rip through your heart as the beats pound your head. Look for world domination with “Moloko & Ultra-Violent” as you eat through the wrapper to find GOLD!!!

author: KarstenAfter the debut ep Latex (De)Generation from 2004 the industrial glam punks from italy now strike back again in the tradition of Marilyn Manson or the White Zombies. The evil boys have been founded in roma in 2003. The guitarist Icy X has been known under the name Krimloth in the black metal group Draconian Order, singer Lex Kaos and bassplayer Plastik Poison belong to the foundation members. Later guitarist La Nuit found his way to the Latexxx Teens Anno 2006 the quartet released another abridged version CD. But as anyone knows the shorter the better and LXT dont waste time. Genesis of Te(chn)ocrazy rocks immediately. Lex Kaos roars and the guitars dash forward. At the same time the whole thing is melodic and the sound goes straight to the ears and legs. And its the same with Millennium Nightmare (United Shit of America). Obviously the hard guitar riffs pass the way of the LXT forward. On stage they get support at the synths of DOPE STARS INC.-Member Grace Khold. As so often the Azzuros have a preference for the german speech too, which they live up in their song Maschine Zeit. Presumable its the hard sound of our mother tongue which charms. (S)aint (R)evolution is not that far as the other songs and there are less stringed instruments, but that doesnt mean that they didnt work with energy. And so it moves on with the finest industrial rock of Viral Sublimination. With Requiem For A Dream (an allusion to the movie?) the end of Moloko & UltraViolence is already there. I dont think that the guys will be at there musically end. The six songs are just full of energy, its fun to listen to and desire for more. After the statement of the band Moloko & UltraViolence is a soundtrack to mass murder and the soon coming end of the world. We do not hope for anything of both but I would like to hear more of this four guys.

Gruppo che non lascia nulla a caso, infatti non tutte le band di settore sembrano dare importanza a quelle piccole peculiarità che fanno la differenza in termini di immagine, come la cura dell'artwork, delle foto e ovviamente dei suoni. Ok, il genere proposto dai LT chiede un diverso tipo di approccio rispetto a una classica rock'n'roll band, ma di sicuro dalla loro parte c'è l'intento di realizzare un prodotto più professionale possibile. Gli 'strumenti' usati per la creazione di "Moloko & Ultraviolence" si chiamano Shotgun Messiah, Marilyn Manson e Deathstars, 6 canzoni di industrial rock, a tratti più elettronico e dark e a tratti più punk e glam, andandosi così a collocare in quella nicchia già occupata dai cugini Dope Stars Inc. (tra l'altro troviamo Grace Khold in veste di grafico e come membro aggiuntivo in sede live). La malata "Genesis Of Te(chn)ocrazy" apre le danze, un buon pezzo di industrial rock così come la seguente "Millenium Nightmare (United Shit of America)", ma è con "Maschine Zeit" che la band capitolina raggiunge tutti i miei consensi, una cavalcata elettronica che coinvolge subito dopo il primo ascolto e anche "Viral Sublimination" risulta un gradino sopra alle rimanenti song. Se impazzite per questo tipo di sonorità e avete voglia di una nuova band con cui scatenare le vostre perversioni elettroniche, date un'opportunità ai Latexx Teens!

"Genesis of te(chn)ocrazy" - titolo geniale! - vi farà smarrire nel variegato suk soniko disegnato dai nostri quattro baldi musici, sotto la supervisione dell'ormai esperto Victor Love (My Sixth Shadow, Dope Stars Inc.): assalto all'arma bianca, e che ferite vi procureranno queste sadicissime sciabolate! Gronda sangue pure la successiva "Millenium nightmare (United Shit of America)", impregnata fino al midollo di nichilismo punkeggiante e sorretta da un wall of sound granitico: un inno da urlare a squarciagola, favorito da un ritornello essenziale quanto spudorato. Coraggiosi e determinati, i nostri LXT, lo abbiano sempre affermato! "Maschine zeit" è assolutamente teuto-EBM, micidiale e cattivissima, una bomba (gustosissimo il riff posto in chiusura)! La cibernetica e cadenzatissima "(S)aint (R)evolution" ci introduce nel reparto ballatone, ed i Latexxx anche stavolta colpiscono nel segno, svolgendo il compito colla perizia degli esperti: nulla di particolarmente innovativo (ma chissenefrega!), ma pathos assicurato (belle le voci spaziali, per nulla fredde, anzi, forniscono al brano una certa sensualità aliena). "Viral sublimination" coniuga quanto finora esposto con un andamento spedito scandito dalla ritmica, e con una marcata coralità vocale a scatenare la voglia di cantarla a squarciagola (sotto la doccia? Perchè no!). Chiosa degnamente la perfida "Requiem for a dream", anche questa niente male in quanto a carica agonistica. Look curatissimo, come pure la porzione grafica: opera, seppur di breve durata, che fa ben presagire per un ennesimo capitolo della loro vicenda artistica, questa volta più sostanzioso dal punto di vista della quantità (dei brani). Il valore del gruppo non va taciuto, le premesse per un futuro radioso ci sono tutte!

author: LaurentThis is the second release of this industrial glam band from Italy. While most musical influences of the band can be found in industrial metal and glam metal, the purely German industrial/EBM influence is getting stronger on this CD. 6 bass drum oriented songs with crazy gothy keyboards and heavy guitar riffs. The vocals sometimes remind me of the MURDERDOLLS and the music is sometimes close to what you can hear on the DEATHSTARS albums. “Millenium Nightmare” is probably the catchiest song on here but all the songs work well as a whole. On a visual level, the band seems to find inspiration in modern chaos and the downfall of today’s society led by the U.S.A. Bands like LATEXXX TEENS (also refered as LTX) or DOPE STARS. INC show that you now have to count on Italy as far as the industrial scene is concerned.

Vor über einem Jahr habe ich euch die Industrial Sleaze Band „Latexxx Teens“ aus Italien vorgestellt und heute holen sie zum entscheidenden Schlag ins große Musik Business aus. „LXT“ sind zwar keine klassische Sleaze Band, aber einen gewissen Touch kann man einfach nicht leugnen, ihre Vorbilder sind übrigens Künstler wie „Alice Cooper“ und „Mötley Crüe“! Auch wenn das Cover Artwork absolut professionell aussieht, handelt es sich bei „Moloko & Ultraviolence“ um ein selbst produziertes Album. Die Produktion wurde im Subsound Studio in Rom realisiert und ich kann euch sagen, der Sound ist einfach astrein. Man würde regelrecht seinen Arsch verwetten das ein Label hinter der Band steht, aber das stimmt nicht. Wer Beats und Industrial hasst und eher auf traditionelle Klänge steht, der kann hier gleich mit dem lesen aufhören, denn „LXT“ würden euch nicht gefallen. Ich bin zwar auch nicht unbedingt ein Fan von Alternative Klängen doch diese Jungs treten mit ihren Beats dermaßen in den Arsch das es eine wahre Freude ist. „Marilyn Manson“ sollte sich vielleicht mal dieses Demo anhören, dann würde er vielleicht auch wieder mal vernünftige Musik machen. „Genesis of Te(chn)ocrazy” eröffnet den Spaß und der Sound steht für alles was die Band ausmacht: Knallige Beats, harte Gitarren und grandiose Melodien. Es würde mich doch sehr wundern, wenn die Labels die Band weiterhin ignorieren würden, der Sound ist einfach zu gut um der Masse vorenthalten zu bleiben. Ehrlich, solche Musik gehört nicht in den Untergrund und um es nochmals zu sagen, die Produktion ist einfach nur genial! Ich stelle mir gerade vor wie die Leute bei einer Gothic/Industrial Party beim Opener abgehen würden. Ja, der Sleaze Anteil ist zu gering, das jetzt alle Leser mit dieser Scheibe klarkommen, ich würde jetzt mal sagen 80 % unserer Reader wären enttäuscht wenn sie davon ausgehen würden, etwas im Stil von „Miss Crazy“ zu hören. Wie euch immer, die Songs treffen den Nagel auf den Kopf, „Millennium Nightmare (United Shit of America)“ rockt genau so gut wie „Machine Zeit“, jeder Titel ist wirklich erste Sahne. Meine Prognose: Die „Latexxx Teens“ angeln sich in diesem Jahr einen Plattenvertrag und im nächsten Jahr wird zumindest der Name der Band in aller Munde sein!

But don’t worry mommy, I am not going to cry. Because, the Latexxx Teens also gave me their new release to review! Yay! ... Ok, I know I am a bad actor. Lets become serious now. The new EP, Moloko & Ultra-Violence, exists of six brand new tracks. Their biography was filled with weird descriptions, but I managed to find a good quote inbetween the vague ones: ‘New stuff is colder, harder, faster and darker than the first work’. Sounds pretty promising indeed! Do they still have the potential, or have they become a major act in their genre already? Read the following review, and within two minutes you will have the answer! Well people, the Teens were right. This new EP is definitely colder, harder, faster and darker than the debut EP. In one word: more mature. The production (done by Victor Love – Dope Stars Inc’s vocalist) is more than excellent and the cover art (done by Grace Khold – Dope Stars Inc’s synth player) looks marvellous. But, what I find a little bit a bummer is the fact that the Dope Stars Inc influences are clearly hearable in their music too. LXT still have an own style, but I strongly hope that they will keep it this way and not become any Dope Stars Inc clone. Anyway, fortunately they are not a clone at this moment, so lets have a few words about the tracks. ‘Genesis of Te(chn)ocrazy’ blasts on strong sampling, heavy guitars and a catchy chorus. It was an excellent choice to pick this track as an opener, because it wakes you up and sucks you into the LXT world in no time! ‘Millenium Nightmare (United Shit Of America)’ sounds like a political song, but I cannot have a look at the lyrics to be sure unfortunately. Their post-punk influences are clearly coming back in this song, but they centrifugated it through a modern attitude. The result is an easy listening, little bit danceable track that might be a positive surprise for Marilyn Manson fans. ‘Maschine Zeit’ reminds me like Dope Stars Inc’s ‘Infection 13’ when it kicks off, but what follows is some powerful and heavy industrial metal track. While the synts seem made for trance, the guitars seem made for metal and this combination seems explosive together with the great vocals of Alex Love Dolls. Dance your ass off on this track, because ‘(S)aint (R)evolution’ is a song of the different kind. Forget the bouncing beats and say hello to a more sensitive side of the band. A perfect song for the vocalist to express his talents on, and the heavy guitars make this song an excellent sensitive song. ‘Viral Sublimination’ brings you back to the danceable side, although this song turns out to be more easy listening than danceable. A closer look at the track brings up the EBM influences and the punk influences in both the music as the vocal performance. ‘Requiem For A Dream’ is one of the shortest songs of this EP, and also one of the more catchy ones. There is some great atmospheric sampling on this track, and... heavy guitars again! This is probably the major thing that causes an erection over here, because the trend is to turn the guitars lower and lower (Dope Stars Inc, Deathstars...) but LTX decided to pump up the guitar volume all over the record! And not to forget, all tracks are extremely well build! As I mentioned before, this band took a big step forward with this new release, but they have to be on their guard to not become a clone of their friends. If they are on their guard well enough, I dare to say that these guys are ready to conquer the world with their own wicked style which might become very popular. If you want to know if you can agree with me, go order your copy of this on the official site! Will take you longer than the two minutes it took you reading this review though, because this EP gives you over 25 minutes material!
