REVIEW
"How do bands like Last Stand slip through the cracks? They combine the best aspects of Boston's Power Pop bands like THE REAL KIDS or DMZ with the fire of England's most biting political punks, such as THE CLASH or STIFF LITTLE FINGERS. Perfect snarling vocals are worked into rousing music that's deceptively simple - It works its way into your head, rolls around and gets stuck. Like many of the best Rock & Roll bands, LAST STAND have a slight Blues influence haunting the guitars, setting the chords on fire. Charging Punk that swaggers with Rock & Roll bliss"

great thoughtful punk rock
author: MichaelI first hear a song by these guys called "One Man". It was homegrown smart and thoughtful punk rock. No flashy pro-tools and I'm tellin' ya the lyrics on this record are great, from love songs to over throwing the state! Not dogmatic...great stuff. These guys seem to be in the DEAD MOON family. I truly love this band and am going to get the other album as soon as possible. I play them on the radio every chance I get. The cover of the record makes sense because they are kinda like the Clash's cousins. Much love, M
