notes
Originally forming in 1985, Last Orders are a West Auckland, New Zealand punk outfit that were playing gigs, drinking beer and recording demos when many of today’s punk bands were still wearing nappies, (no disrespect if you’re into wearing nappies, it’s a free country).
‘Postcards from West Auckland’ is the second full-length album and musically it sits well with fans of classic English Punk and Oi! Bands such as The Test Tube Babies, UK Subs and The Exploited to name a few. Contemporary influences such as Good Riddance, Bodyjar and New Zealand’s own Sommerset give a fresh take on a classic sound keep the music sounding current.
Good riffs and catchy hooks played with punk energy are the order of the day for this second Last Orders album.
For best results add booze and play loud!

Punk the way it's meant to sound!
author: Paul HarveyEnjoyable punk rock with a humorous side. Should sit well with fans of good old bands such as Chaos UK, Broken Bones, and so on. My favourite song is the amusing final track, Geek. Great picture on the front cover too. The only problem is that at 11 tracks, you'll be wishing for more!
