notes
Larry Suess: I've been singing as long as i can remember. Singing in my family was a way of showing love and harmony. I started joining bands in high school and have played professionally in bands and solo for over four decades-it keeps me young and searching for the perfect song. I have become a music therapist and a psychologist, but essentially I'm still a singer who delights in the next fun song to sing. There will be a book about my life in music in the next year or so which will explore some of the inspirations behind the CD Still A Minstrel. Stay tuned!

sounds as good as he did in 1973
author: Michael PebblesArtist has found his calling.. Still like listening to you Larry
Feeling great music!
author: BunnyEcclectic CD with something for everyone, variety of styles, each unique and uplifiting. My top pick is Autumn Windsong...a sure #1 hit single! It's gotten more play time on my drive to work to keep the tune in my head between sales calls!
Still a minstral is strong on musicianship, lyrics and harmonies
author: Rock SehrThe songs on Still a Minstral really work with strong guitar work, lyrics and harmonies from the images and stories in Giselle to the gospel feel and vocal clarity in By Sundown. I heard echoes of some of my favorite artists, Stevie and Dylan, played in new formats. It's a CD that I and my guitar-playing daughter will continue to enjoy.
This Is A Wonderful CD
author: Lisa PetersonThis is a wonderful CD, full of happiness and hope for everyone. I got 2 copies to send to my boyfriend in Iraq so he'll feel better while he's there, hearing such good music from a fellow Minnesotan, maybe he won't feel so far away when he listens to "Still A Minstrel". Of course I got one for myself, too; I think everyone should buy this CD because it's full of hope, honesty, and makes me smile. Mr. Suess writes such honest words and good music, and sings them so well, I don't know why he isn't a big star, but maybe he will be soon!
My CD of the Decade
author: Betsy"Still A Minstrel" takes the listener on a joyful rockin' musical journey. This is a must-have CD! It's sunshine for the heart. This is my 3rd order; it's the perfect gift for any occasion, and it seems everyone who "borrows" it just can't part with it. That's okay - this is music that's meant to be shared. Brilliant lyrics, a warm & strong voice with an incredible range, songs that draw you in...I've been waiting for this CD for over 25 years! And now I won't stop smiling for at least another 25 - yes, it's that good!
A breath of fresh air and good music!
author: Stephanie HarrisThis CD is a real oasis in a desert of overproduced and formula lyrics and songs that they churn out down here in Nashville. Believe me, I know, I'm in the business, and after a day of listening to sincere but amateur songs that all sound the same, "Still A Minstrel" restores my faith in the idea of "new talent", although I guess he's spent a lifetime at it. This is how to write and perform a song - straight from your heart and with the talent to have faith in yourself without hiding behind studio dubovers. Bravo, Mr. Suess! You've discovered there's no one formula for success, just a love of music and your own true talent, and your own vision. I received this as a gift from my mother's former business partner, but I'll be ordering many more, not to make my clients feel bad about what they've tried, but to show them you don't have to do something just one way to have it turn out wonderfully. I look forward to hearing more from you!
These songs don't just shine, they're brilliant.
author: Larry PrzyblyskiNot only does this CD soar, it lifts your heart & soul to the heavens with the feelings of possibilities for connections these songs can bring between people. Rock, pop, jazz, whatever you call it, it's music that brings people together and leaves them looking for ways to be good to each other. The lyrics are oustanding, the musical arrangements some of the best I've ever heard, the compositions really suited to the subject of the songs, Larry Suess's voice is strong and polished, and I'm not a novice when it comes to music. It'd really be hard to be unhappy after hearing this CD, buy it now!
