We want to say something about money and fame and how it plays into art, especially our art: the music industry is wounded....maybe by illegal downloads and file sharing, but more than likely it is a self inflicted injury caused by the large amounts of garbage that they have been pushing on us for years. now with digital music and cheaply recorded works there are hundreds of thousands of artists material for fans to sift through, most for free. but even most of this independent music is bastardized by the lust for fame and money and therefore the "art" is more or less just a carbon copy of the same crap that the big industry pushes.
our music was made for the love and enjoyment it brings us. we can only hope that it touches another individual even a fraction of what it does for us. and to show that we are not about the money, we are donating 50% of the profits from this album ("the carrier wave") to charity. we dont know what charity, so place a vote for your favorite organization by emailing us and telling us who you think should get the money.
so if you buy a cd or download the album from itunes, the money that is sent to us will be divided and distributed to the charity that is chosen.
