"Turn Up The Music!" is designed for toe tapping fun, but also delivers many positive messages for children. "The lyrics are a combination of silly and serious while teaching children about life fundamentals," says Lanny Sherwin. "Some of the songs address acceptance and tolerance, doing our best, respect for nature and animals and more...but it is not preachy." He adds, "I try never to write 'down' to kids. They are much more sophisticated about music than people realize. I just try to write for the whole family-kids, parents, and grandparents. Also, there is plenty of humor in "Turn Up The Music!", something we all need more of in today's world.

"Turn Up The Music!" is the third children's music CD from Sandman Records and Lanny Sherwin. The first two CDs, "Dream With Me Tonight-Lullabies For All Ages" and "Dream With Me Tonight, Vol. 2 - A Father's Lullabies", were written for ages newborn to 5.

    While searching for songs with depth and healthy, positive messages for ALL the children I work with, I came across Turn Up the Music. I popped right up out of my chair! It's perfect! AND Lanny has a wonderful voice!! Then I found MORE songs that were up the right alley. I emailed my friend immediately. Our search is over! I'm so gratful! This music is great for all children AND adults.

    hey Lanny. It's Tish. Call me. I am working on a project here in Naples called Tish and The All-Star Peanut Butter & Jellie Jamm. It's a Cd of original and old rearranged songs for kids. Proceeds benefit the Children For The Arts Foundation to help kids that are unable to afford private classes in the arts. It benefits after-school programs in the public schools as the school has no money for the arts. Imagine that! I saw Roger Williams the other day and told me that you had this cd out.
