Rob Landes, a native Houstonian, has been musical director for many theatrical productions in Houston, such as the Alley Theatre and Theatre Under the Stars. Landes has collaborated with Dr. Sidney Berger for eight years in writing musicals for the Children's Theatre Festival at the University of Houston. He has done musical arrangements for Liza Minnelli and Marilyn Maye. He conducted the Count Basie Orchestra and the Buddy Rich Band in concert with Marilyn Maye in one of Rich's last concerts. He is the pianist on two of Maye's albums. In the late 60s, Landes was the keyboardist with the nationally known rock group fever tree, releasing four national albums. In 1994, "The Best of fever tree" was released and is on sale internationally. Landes is presently the Organist/Artist-in-Residence at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston, where he has served since 1996.

If you think you know these Christmas songs, wait until you hear how they sound with Landes' rich chord progressions and stunning rhythms. This is a great album.
