Dear Friends,
We have great news!!! Lama Wangchuk of Kamtsang Sherab Choling has just released a Tibetan Buddhist sacred chanting CD "The Himalayan Spirit".
The CD contains 18 tracks: Praises to Three Kagyu Masters - Marpa, Milarepa and Gampopa; Mahamudra Lineage Prayer; complete Chenrezig Sadhana (Puja); Prayer to Padmasambhava; Padmasambhava Mantra; four Chod chants with bell and hand-drum; Heart Sutra (Prajnaparamita Sutra).
The first track of the CD is an original melody. The next seventeen tracks are traditional melodies and all the tracks include both male and female vocalists except the last five tracks which are Lama Wangchuk alone, playing bell and hand-drum and chanting.
The Chenrezig Puja chanted on this CD has been chanted and practiced at all Tibetan Buddhist Meditation Centers throughout the world. These chants have been practiced in this order for many centuries in the TIbetan language with altruistic intentions.
The meanings of the chants and tones are filled with blessings from being chanted with good motivations for centuries. These chants can transform the space, environment, people, and most of all, can bring immediate positive and peaceful influences to the mind. Even modern science is discovering inconceivable positive benefits to the brain resulting from meditation and chanting these mantras and so on.
As you may know the Chenrezig Puja (Chan Ray Zig) is a practice of the Boddhisattva of Compassion and is one of the most important teachings of Buddha's entire doctrine.
