This album, "I Get Lifted", is one of the best things I have done musically, I think. Although, the "True Love"(Book One)album recorded by Judy and I as, Thomas and Taylor, was a milestone in our minds as a source of good song material.

I feel that, "Life and Love" is a great song that deserves to be heard not only in the United States, but around the world.I hope that everyone who likes music will listen to the contents of my new album. Listen to the words and the meaning behind the words. Listen to the music, the arrangements and the honesty in the vocals. And then support the project, just to be a part of something that is true. I believe that "I Get Lifted" can lift you up and shine its' spirit on you if you let it.

Don't call it Soul, R & B, Blues, Old Skool or Pop, just listen to the songs.

This album is dedicated to the memory of my mother, Rebecca Wiley, who gave me the feeling, the spirtit and the gift of the 'smile'. And so everytime that I hear her name, eventhough she's gone, "I Get Lifted"

    I just bought and listened to "Get Lifted", and I think I'm going to lift it for some of my friends. Lamar Thomas has talent beyond nothing I have ever heard before. Lamar's politial commentary is correct, THERE ARE "Too many bitches in the Temple", figuratively speaking and I think we should all rise up, live and love together, and GET LIFTED! I recommend this album for all those who want a funky and soul-filled experience. Sing on my man. -Scott Tyler

    This cd is by far the best cd i have ever listened to in my life, dmx ja rule and jay-z have nothing on lamar thomas very sweet sounding lyrics and beautiful melodies make this a must have, sometimes i find myself gazing at the cd's cover; at a man who has captured so much emotion and pride into this masterpiece.     Pocono Mountain's own Lamar Thomas, Director of Student Services at Pocono Mountain East High School, has created a masterpiece. No CD known to man is any greater than "I Get Lifted". If you like music, you like Lamar Thomas music. The first time I heard this CD I was so lifted that I hit my head on the ceiling. This is a MUST HAVE. BEST CD EVER!!!!
