Lamar Harris is now releasing his long-awaited “Live at The Bistro” CD/DVD. This CD/DVD release chronicles his January 2008 performances at the popular St. Louis venue, Jazz at the Bistro. The CD/DVD features Lamar showcasing his jazz and soul influences, while performing with notable St. Louis musicians such as “Good 4 The Soul”, Duane “Jingo” Williams, and C Jay Conrod.
Lamar Harris is a talented musician, producer, writer, and arranger. As a performer, Lamar has shared the stage with such names as Keite Young, Choklate, Biz Markie, Common, Doug E Fresh, Eric Roberson, Mos Def, Chrisette Michele, John Legend, and Musiq Soulchild. As a writer and arranger, Lamar has songwriting and arranging credits with such artists as Dove Award-Nominee LIQUID, as well as Gotee Records recording artists DJ MAJ and VERBS. Furthermore, as a recording artist, Lamar Harris has released a number of CDs, including the critically praised “Your All”, and “Groove Therapy”.
