Lamar has a bangin album that is real!
author: Dj SkidLamar is a down to earth artist. His musical styles is not of a main stream crowd pleasing artist, but rather is a artist that is searching for higher meaning and purpose. Access denied is the jam that reflects the inner searchings that everyone realates too and usually dont find. In all this album is one meant to check oneself, without a conviction. The songs on this album portray a sense of intmacy with Lamar and his maker and this love is heartfelt and clings on to you with a sense of trueness. DJ SKid DJ SKid Presents 91.7 KSVR FM
Lamar brings Righteous hard knocking beats
author: Bobby BishopLamar Callahan brings you hard knocking beats that reflect his life and heart. Upon listening to this project, it is evident that Lamar has accomplished what he has set out to do: make a rap CD aimed at the hearts of urban youth, and to bring resolution to their trials. This resolution is unquestionably Jesus Christ. Lamar displays versatility in style by hitting them hard with My Story, but then hits you with a more smoothed out R&B track on Mic Check 1,2. Lamar also provokes one to consider his eternal fate in Access Denied, and the ramifications of living a wreckless life. Lamar accomplishes all this without being too preachy or at all condescending. Check out this CD if you like bass in your trunk and words that provoke change.
