notes

Sarah Coleman is LadyTown. A cowgirl with a pretty voice an punk ethic, LadyTown sets out to take a modern day look at traditional American music and themes; love, loss, infidelity and hope. Approaching her song writing from a soetimes humorous and sometimes painful point of view. Sarah's narrative songs attempt to extract the essence of the human experience. Armed with her guitar she record lo-fi fersions of her songs in her friend Bernie Larsen's living room //Cry on Cue, Melissa Etheridge, David Lindley// creating an intimate enviroment true to her lyrics and outlook on life.

No stranger to the music industry. Sarah has been performing in bands since age 14. Having played in an all girl reggae band to frontinger her own alterna-country duo, she has shared the stage with the likes of Los Lobos and David Lindley. She was also an honorary member of the Mountain Goats 'Bright Mountain Choir'. Now a staple in L.A's Americana scene, LadyTown can often be heard playing throughout the Southern California area.
