Accompanied by superb musicians using modern harmonies within the tradition of this hot and moving genre born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Mimí Kozlowski is a native of Buenos Aires. Her musical career spans twenty years in Argentina, Brazil and Europe, including Paris, where she lived and performed for five years.
Mimi's musical training includes classical piano and guitar, and she now studies with vocal coach Ida Terkiel in Buenos Aires.
Her CD entitled "Nine Tangos and a Candombe" received the Counsel of Music's Prize - an organisation that belongs to UNESCO - for urban music, in 1998.
The main accompanying musicians in this album are: Orlando Trípodi, piano and arregements Reynaldo Nichelle, violin Omar Murtagh, double bass Hugo Romero, guitar and arregements Daniel Binelli, bandoneón

author: KatiekI love this CD! Bought it because it looked like fun and had no idea how great it would be! Totally takes me back to living in spain and that raw emotion that comes through the tango and flamenco sounds! Highly recommended!
