notes
"...Get this man into a studio. I'm talking about somewhere major, like maybe E-Squared, Steve Earle's label. Or how bout that new one that Lucinda is on - Lost Highway? Here's an artist who is definitely worth the major investment required to bring someone to national prominence. And I don't say that lightly.
This man has been around the block a time or two and it's very evident in his performance skills and songwriting talent. This piece of americana country blues is highly reminiscent of Ray Wylie Hubbard, who up to his most recent recording had been getting a bit long in the tooth, musically speaking. I've long been searching for someone who fits Hubbard's quirkiness and layers on the sensibilities of someone like Jimmie Dale Gilmore. Add in a Chris Knight kind of toughness and you have Steve Knechtges..."

"No Tomorrow"
author: --Bob Porri's Triple Play, www.mp3artistarchive.com..Boy! This is very cool(No Tomorrow). Moody, gutsy, bluesy, down and dirty, and performed incredibly well. A nice voice for this style. A little of a Dylan quality to it. As much as I enjoy the slide playing and guitar picking on this song, the singing is a real focus, and all elements compliment each other incredibly well. I couldn't dare make any comment on this one that would reflect anything that I think would make it better. It's perfect for the style presented. An excellent artist I'm happy to be introduced to. Check Steven Knechtges out!...
