Kevin Muiderman has a unique story to tell. Besides building all of the acoustic guitars used to record his recent record, "Earthward Bound," (produced by the great Willy Porter) he also practices surgery by day.
Enamored with the songwriting of artists such as Nick Drake and Bob Dylan as well as the fingerstyle guitar virtuosity of folks like Leo Kottke, Martin Simpson and Willy Porter, Kevin's own style tries to make each song evocative not only as a story but also as a guitar piece.
Earthward bound, rich in its lyrics, vocal performance and various guitar textures, is a wonderful showcase for some of the songs Kevin has collected along his way.
