"Electro Groove Metal" may very well be the best way to describe the four piece wrecking machine from Long Island.

notes
Klank released their debut album "Still Suffering" on the Seattle based Tooth & Nail Records (MxPx, O.C. Supertones, Living Sacrifice....) in 1997, which gave the band an immense amount of attention and notoriety. After spending 18 weeks on the CMJ Top 40 charts and having their single "Downside" added to over 170 radio stations nationwide, Klank formed a strong fan base with their constant touring and intense live shows. Klank has now begun to make its mark once again with their second album, "Numb", released through Progressive Arts Music.
Klank has once again broken musical boundaries with a sound that is best described as Dancy Aggressive Dark Electronically Influenced Groove. Melody is prevalent within deep layers of guitars, keyboards, samples, live and programmed drums. Deep heartfelt, introspective lyrics that express a longing for inner peace, emotional mood swings, bitterness, despair and even elements of hope and happiness are wrapped up in the musical landscape.
Writing music is a form of therapy that helps to release bottled up frustrations and emotions that otherwise have no outlet. "We write music that we feel comes from deep down inside and a lot of people can relate to them because they are all based on real life situations and emotions. We all deal with issues in our lifetime and here is our chance to vent those issues", explains Diolosa.
Klank consists of Darren "Klank" Diolosa (ex - Circle Of Dust & Argyle Park) on vocals, guitars & keys, Pat Servidio on guitar, keys, & programming, Danny Owsley on guitars & backing vocals and John "JMF" Zaletel (ex - Great Kat) on drums & percussion.
"Numb" was recorded, engineered, produced, mixed & mastered by the band at their own studio, 54, recording facility. The album shows much maturation from that of their debut, which includes the single "Blind" which again made it into the top 40 on the CMJ charts. A video was also filmed for "Blind" which has become a regular fixture on the Much Music channel.
With drive and ambition just as big as their sound, Klank is once again forging ahead and making waves in the music scene today.

Great Band
author: Jonathan LeslieGotta tellya! I fallowed Daren from Circle Of Dust to Klank and not once has he disapointed me. Awsome guitar grooves to electronic. I hope the new album will be just as good as his last 3 album ohya the 3rd one is a remix album. But still very good.
Awesome music and service
author: LyrindaI recieved the cd in two days after ordering. It was in new condition and made the ultimate present for my bf. :)
Are you a Klanksta?!
author: DJSkyeNumb is an awesome follow-up to Still Suffering. Seeing that I used to listen to artists such as NIN, Marilyn Manson, and Rob Zombie, Klank is the perfect way to get all that metal with a bit of hard beats, without all the Satanic, drug, and sex fueled imagery.
Klank doesn't disappoint.
author: HelenI bought Klanks Numb, because I was already a big fan of Circle of Dust and Celldweller. Klank has it's own sound, which is every bit as good as the other two bands. Each song on the CD is really good. They aren't stuck on a particular formula. Very solid CD.
