Orange Room Music: "Singer songwriter Kit Ashton is a native of Jersey, in the Channel Islands, and still maintains a devoted following there. Likened to a young David Bowie, as well as Jeff Buckley, amongst others, his music is a blend of alternative rock and pop. He combines an incredible vocal expression with a broad harmonic palette, natural command of his guitar, and some of the most hooky, catchy melodies you could hope for. Even Sir Paul McCartney is a fan. Before graduating from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, Kit had the honour of a jam session with the legend who pronounced his music as, “Brilliant. Great stuff - really beautiful songs.”
Kit currently lives in Brighton, England, and is signed to management/production company Orange Room Music, with whom he has released a five track EP - ‘Blindsided’.
