The year was 1977. The hair was feathered and the lapels were wide. Rust and light blue seemed to be America’s favorite colors and a young, eight-year old boy named Kevin Click found himself hopelessly enamored with American radio. While disco dominated the airwaves, Kevin found himself gravitating towards bands like Ambrosia, America, ELO, Eric Clapton, The Eagles and Jackson Browne. From early childhood he knew that there would be only one thing in his future…Music!
Born and raised in Southern California, yet having a family from the Bible belt, Kevin grew up on Elvis Presley, Gospel and Country music. These became the influences that would help shape a style that has become uniquely his own. Kevin was raised in the church; and started singing from the moment he learned to speak. With a $10 dollar guitar and a full-length mirror, Kevin would imagine himself standing before thousands of people using the great gift he’d been given.
10 years later at age 18, Kevin found himself at a crossroads. Having abandoned his Christian upbringing, Kevin was on a path of self-destruction, yet inside he always knew that a life without God could never be an option. So in January of 1987 he reluctantly attended a church sponsored winter youth retreat in the local Southern California Mountains. It was there that Jesus met him face to face, and in an instant, all the pain, hurt, disappointment, addiction, and foolish living faded away. God brought forgiveness and Kevin was finally ready to receive it. So with his new found faith and love of music, Kevin set out to change the world.
Over the past 20 years Kevin has played and recorded with numerous bands and spent his share of time on the Hollywood strip as well as leading worship for various congregations around Southern California. Over the span his career he has recorded eight albums including his brand new 2008 release “Beautiful Loss” and many of his songs are being sung in churches across the United States. In January of 1998 Kevin took what he calls, “God’s perfect direction for his life” as he accepted a full time position as the Pastor of Worship at Calvary Chapel South Bay in Torrance, California where he still proudly serves today. Kevin is passionate about communicating God’s truth through his music both to the church and the unbelieving world. After 20 years, Kevin’s greatest accomplishment can best be summed up in the title track of his recent release, “I will only glory in the power of the cross, for my sins they are forgiven they’re all gone.” Kevin says, “Man can accomplish a lot, but nothing that really matters unless his heart is right with Jesus.” Kevin lives in Torrance, California with his wife Kelly and three children.

Beautiful Loss
author: G.W.Truly, this worship CD brings one to the place of worship; guiding one's heart to adoration of the Father, gratitude for what Jesus has done for us, and a sincere introspection into one's own wandering heart guided with the hope of God's grace. As an attendee of Calvary Chapel South Bay, singing original worship songs given to Kevin by the Holy Spirit, I have often considered what a blessing it would be for others to sing these songs if only they were made available to the public at large. Well, now they are, here in this CD and his other CD available, "He Called My Name". Venture out in faith and buy them, and you will not be disappointed. Be blessed.
More than a Music Experience

author: Tisha WoodsonKevin hits it home with each one of these songs. I have to restrain myself from singing out loud while in the office, or from dancing in the ailes while in church service. This is one of my all-time favorite CDs. It has been long awaited, but well worth it. "Faithful Father" brings you right into a place of worship, and it is hard to sit still while listening to "Let my life be Praise" and "Mercy Seat". "Something other than gone" is one we will definitely hear over the airwaves. I'll be purchasing additional copies just to give away. This is a must for any CD collection. Keep up the great work Kevin as the Lord continues to guide you.
Astounding and touching the spirit!

I consider myself extremely blessed to be here every week and wrapped in the love of The Lord in song and study. I've been to other churches, but missed our worship team, and Kevin. The tracks of this CD demonstrate a vocal variety not common (and certainly welcome) in worship leaders. Each track has had a profound affect on my worship. I can tell that the songs lyrics were thoroughly prayed over and are very personal and applicable to this listener. I hop that other listeners find as much thought and prayer inspiration in the lyrics as I do. It's also well composed, engineered and well produced. This CD is a work that is one to keep. There are no 'B' songs on the CD. In my mind, this work is as good or better than a Matt Redmond or Chris Tomlin. Pastor Kevin will keep it real and in the spirit.

Each song takes you to new places; places that lift your spirit, places of contemplation, and places that make you look up and recognize your Creator. Every Song a Hit!!
author: D.K.Rarely do I find an album that has more than a few good songs on it...However every song on Beautiful Loss is excellent! I'm singin' my heart out one moment, then crying the next. Walk on Water rocks pretty strong and Faithful Father has been stuck in my head for days. Great God, Great Artist, Great songs. Gotta buy more...
Best CD in long time

Let my life be praise, Faithful Father and Power of the cross are a few of my favorites. Something other than Gone is grammy material. Enjoy it! Great job bro!
