notes
Delightful traditional Cajun music from the late Paul Dudley Kershaw and his Bayou Ramblers.
Hailing from the legendary Kershaw family of Kaplan, Louisiana (Doug, Rusty, Sammy Kershaw), Paul sings and plays old-time Cajun music as he learned it growing up in the '30s and '40s.
Unique in his field, he blows double-row harmonica in a rack in lieu of accordion, while beating out lively rhythms on his guitar. Vocals in French & English.
Accompanied by sparkling fiddle, rubboard, and drums, this is real back-porch Cajun...all-acoustic and from the heart. A rare find and a treasure for anyone who adores authentic Cajun music.
