Biography
Hovering at the fringes of commercial success and progressively building a steadfast following across the globe, singer-songwriter Kelly Christian delivers a catchy crossover sound that marries visceral instinct with traditional instruction.
Self-taught in voice, guitar, keyboards and harmonica at a very young age, Kelly was moved by rock-n-roll rhythm, but somehow felt a need to enhance the melodic aspect of rock. The result: a unique and sonically distinctive fusion of pop, rock and soul, somewhere between U2, Coldplay and The Beatles that appeals to fans of all ages and walks of life.
With an enormous range, both vocally and stylistically, Kelly delivers polished, soulful acoustic balladry at times, and powerful, rocking, hook-laden hits that he sings with an emphatic honesty that is hard to find and a technical ability that's even tougher to beat.
Los Angeles has proven to be promising for artist Kelly Christian. He and his former band Catch 22 were featured on the Howard Stern Show and Access Hollywood. He has performed live on internationally syndicated television for both The Roseanne Show and Regis & Kathy Lee and has had the honor of singing the "National Anthem" for the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings games.
Kelly Christian's debut solo single, "Stay", hit the Top 40 charts, tracked by New Music Weekly Magazine, and in 2003 he was the only independent artist that was nominated as Male Artist of the Year alongside Eminem, John Mayer, Uncle Kracker and Nelly.
This Pop-Rock & Soul artist is fresh out of the studio, breaking out with his new record, "Eleven/21," produced by veteran producer, Ted Perlman (Bob Dylan, Dave Mason, Burt Bacharach, Chicago, Celine Dion).

A voice with a soul!
author: Jeannie WippIncredible music from the heart and soul of Mr. Christian. Eleven/21 is a musical wonder of a CD. Christian sings softly in one song and then belts out the next song with a voice range beyond belief. Beautifully written tunes, not covers, no copy here, the real thing. When will the next CD be coming, because i will be the first in line online! Signed, one of your biggest fans!

Well worth the wait
author: A friendI have been listening to Kelly since the "old days" and have been waiting for this debut Solo CD for quite a while now. I must say; it was well worth all the waiting! There's not a disapointing track on this CD. Even the "re-imagining" of some of his songs on here, though different than the cherished originals, have won their own place in my heart. I'm sure this CD will capture and move you as it has everyone I know who has expierianced the unique qualities Kelly Christian brings to the music scene. With its soulful lyrics that come from deep within the heart, the upbeat almost magical melodies, and the truly angelic quality of this artists voice; "Eleven/21" is a MUST have for any patriot of love.
