Kevin Cahoon and Ghetto Cowboy are one of NY's most buzzed about new bands, having sold-out shows at such legendary NY venues as Irving Plaza, CBGB's, Don Hill's, Ars Nova, among others. The New York Times, The NY Blade, Time Out and other NY publications have heralded their music as something exciting and fresh on the pop culture landscape. Pooling their inspiration from punk to glitter rock to country and soul, their music has something to say. With their music already charting on the Hot100 on the Sirius Satellite Radio Network, Ghetto Cowboy looks forward to the world experiencing their music with their debut release 'DOLL'. Lead singer/songwriter Kevin Cahoon has also appeared in Film, Television, and Broadway and Off-Broadway Theatre, including the title role of Hedwig in 'Hedwig and The Angry Inch'.

    So a few months ago, I was surfing around Kevin Cahoon's official website, and I loved the music I heard. About a month later, I saw Kevin and he told me that they were now selling the cd on CDBaby.com, we discussed how much we love the site and I said I'd pick it up. I love this cd from beginning to end! It's perfect to listen to in the car, or just sitting around because it's mixed so incredibly well! It really does make you wonder why you ever listened to the radio. There's a reason it's so buzzed in the New York area!

    What more can I say but, this is such a FUN CD. Everytime I listen to it (now, for instance), whether it be in the car or otherwise, I feel like I'm back at a live show. Each song is so crisp and fresh, I feel that this CD will never date itself. I believe that you can pick this CD up years from now, and you will still feel as though it is a new recording. I just LOVE IT. Even sent one to my parents, they just called and gave many thanks for they are LOVING IT too...

    Oh what a great day it was when my Doll CD arrived! Finally, I can have my favorite Ghetto Cowboy song Saved by the Beauty on CD and play it whenever I want. It's now on heavy rotation in my car CD player... Fashionista, Doll, not a bad song in the whole bunch.... if you love this CD... you'll love Kevin & Ghetto Cowboy LIVE .... the most fun ever! Kevin Cahoon..... remember that name.... not just a Superstar... he's a super nice, human being, too!

    I got a postcard for this CD after a show and it looked cool. He is in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang on broadway and got reviewed by The NY Times. How bad could it be? I came to CD Baby to check it out where I purchased the album immediately upon hearing the song, Doll. I can't take it out of my CD player. Kevin Cahoon rocks! (So does his Ghetto Cowboys.)
