Kawika's got the hunky good looks you'd expect from a Polynesian dancer, but there's so much more to this young artist. His silky, sensual voice will caress you like the wonderful scent of a fresh flower lei.
A Na Hoku Hanohano scholarship winner while attending Baldwin High on Maui, Kawika Regidor is a University of Hawaii student, Tahitian dancer, song writer and musician who plays guitar, ukulele and Polynesian drums.
Kawika celebrated his musical debut as a featured artist on the chart topping "Island Love Shack 2" compilation. "The First Time," is a seamless mix of contemporary island and Hawaiian music featuring 8 originals by Kawika. "Head Over Heels" expresses love's sweet surrender, "The First Time" recalls the tender moment of that first kiss, and "Two Lovers" describes the trouble falling in love can bring!
Kawika's Hawaiian songs ("Kaipo Nohea"," "O Kuileana") and his songs about growing up on Maui ("Maui my home," "The Islands") are filled with sweet local flavor.
