DRAWN TO DANGER is a twelve song ride through the emotions of the human spirit.
Powerful vocals from a girl who can SING mixed with country instrumentation by guys who were digging the music, make for a fun journey across the river of STAY OR GO - LOVE OR LEAVE - GROW OR SETTLE - LIVE AND LEARN and time for a "cold one".
Katzi Carver has stepped to the plate as composer, lyricist and vocalist.
The lyrics read effortlessly and the music is alive: not canned and predictable Touring South Korea for five months sharing her music and kindness with all the armed forces, she speaks to the soul of all of us drawn to danger ! This CD is about kickin back, havin fun and soaking up some hot fiddle licks laced with pickin guitar.
I don't know a debut artist on the planet that would include a duet in their first outing, but Katzi has joined with Stephen Stockemer to create the ultimate duet "Only You".
"For me, it's all about the music," she says.
If one listener dances around the kitchen, or gives a loved one another chance, or ditches a bad situation or just enjoys the drive down the highway - I've done my job.
Katzi is currently getting airplay over seas, on KIKT FM in Texas and on several web radio broacasts and the reviews are streaming in.

Co-Produced by Phil York, who has worked magic with Willie Nelson and countless others, DRAWN TO DANGER is slick and professional. Katzi's songwriting talents and vocal abilites enticed the likes of Reggie Rueffer (fiddle player for Charley Pride) and Tommy Nash( lead guitar player who just finished five years with the Dixie Chicks) to lend their individual talents to this project.
Katzi has been nominated for the AMERICAN HORIZON AWARD from the Lone State State Country Music Association and she is being profiled on OPRY NORTH in Canada for the month of September. She is the first American artist to be honored.
When asked where the inspiration for the title originated, she responds
"I was working one day and the air conditioner was on the "fritz". I had the fans whirling on high when a woman and three kids came in. She wasn't much paying attention to their antics and the smallest boy kept edging closer and closer to that fan. His little fingers outstretched. He kept waiting for her reaction. I alerted her to his fascination and she turned and hollered "I DON"T KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH THAT BOY, HE'S JUST DRAWN TO DANGER"
I ran home that day and wrote a tribute to all of us who can identify with the little guy.
It serves as a cornerstone to this venture of 12 original tunes
