This collection of songs is proof to all who hear them that God does listen when you pray.
A few years ago, something was missing in my life. Although I attended church, sang in the choir, taught Sunday School, and joined committees, it wasn't enough. I needed to do more. I just didn't know what. I prayed, asking God for His guidance, but found no response. More and more, I became persistent in my request, waiting for an answer. Now, looking back, I realize God had already begun to answer my prayers.
When John Williams asked two years ago if I would join him and several others in performing a special outdoor music service, I said yes. I got out my guitar, which had been gathering dust, and we got to work rehearsing and having fun. As I was practicing on my own, I took a break and began playing around with some chords. I came up with a melody, and before I knew it, I had written a song with several verses and a chorus. Now I was never one for writing anything - let alone a song - so I was pretty excited about what I had just done. This would be the beginning of my Christian song writing! From that day, God continues to touch and inspire me in each song I write. I also believe God connects and speaks to each one of us in different ways, through many different people. We just need to stay in touch with Him so we can hear when He speaks to our hearts.
God answered my prayers when He blessed me with the faith, hope, and love I needed to write each one of these songs. If anyone would have told me two years ago that I would be publishing a CD of my own music, I would have laughed - there was no way! Now I know that anything is possible with God. My new prayer is that in some way, through hearing these songs, you too may come to realize that God truly does love you. He is always there to listen to you and to answer your prayers - "In His time, and in His way, when you pray."

Spiritually enlightening, fresh, and inspirational
