PEACE LOVE UNITY and JUSTICE vol.1
This compilation album introduced Paul Barclay and KATSJAM Records to the Jamaican music scene. It contains the Song ‘No Power On Earth’ by George Nooks which was written and produced by Paul Barclay and was the first song to be produced by him and also Katsjam Records’ first release. The song then and now is one of the most played and requested songs for George Nooks and spawned George’s album of the same name.
Among the luminaries on this album are Freddie McGregor – If God Be For Us, Judy Mowatt – Love Him Always, Luciano – God U See and Know and the likes of Dean Fraser, Paul ‘Lymie’ Murray, Dwight Pinkney, Anthony Cruz.
As debut albums go, this one sets a high standard and is a must in any serious or occasional Reggae fans collection. A true album of uplifting inspirational music.
